機(jī)殼由頂殼、側(cè)板(兩塊)、集油罩組成，均采用冷軋薄鋼板并經(jīng)烤漆制成，或采用表面經(jīng)噴塑、搪瓷處理，也有用不銹鋼板制成，使外型光亮美觀、耐用易于清潔。

　　電機(jī)主要由前、后殼、定子、轉(zhuǎn)子構(gòu)成，分別安裝在頂殼的兩個(gè)圓形的塑料法蘭中，電動(dòng)機(jī)后殼安裝了一個(gè)后蓋，起防塵作用。

　　外排式油煙凈化器使用的電動(dòng)機(jī)結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單，啟動(dòng)性能好，轉(zhuǎn)矩大，噪聲低，運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)平穩(wěn)。由于電動(dòng)機(jī)長(zhǎng)期在油煙和水蒸氣環(huán)境中使用，所以對(duì)電機(jī)的要求特別高，而采用絕緣性能、防潮、防腐蝕性能好的全封閉式電動(dòng)機(jī)。
